Description: A semi-permeable moisture vapor retarder for use under tile and hardwood floors. LSU 30-30-30 Asphalt Laminated Underlayment is rated for "moderate" water vapor resistance. Composition: Consists of 30 lbs per ream of high melt point asphalt laminated between 2 sheets of Bs 30 kraft paper. Size: Produced in 36"W x 167LF (500 Sq. Ft.) rolls. Roll weight is approximately 15 lbs.

Water Resistance: ASTM D-779 - Standard Test Method for Water Resistance of Paper, Paperbound, and Other Sheet Material by the Dry Indicator Method. Exceeds industry standard for grade B paper. Meets industry standard of greater than 16 hours.

Tensile Strength: ASTM D-828 - Tensile Properties of Paper and Paperboard Using Constant-Rate-of-Elongation Apparatus. Meets industry standard of greater than 20 lbs. f./inch in both directions.
